A tea made by combining leaves from different gardens, regions, harvests or species.
Blending is its own craft. English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Russian Caravan and Irish Breakfast are all blends — designed for consistency in flavour, body and price across years. Single-origin tea takes the opposite philosophy.
