Autumnal Flush

The final autumn pluck — gentler, sweeter, lower in caffeine, lovely after dinner.

By autumn the bush is winding down for winter. Leaves are deeper-coloured and softer in flavour, with woody, honeyed notes. Autumnal Darjeeling and high-mountain Taiwan winter oolongs are deeply prized examples.
