Tea Types

White Tea

The least processed tea — withered and dried, nothing more — pale, sweet and gentle.

Originally from Fujian's Fuding and Zhenghe counties. Silver Needle (Bai Hao Yin Zhen) uses only buds; White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) uses bud plus two leaves. White tea ages remarkably well, deepening into amber, honeyed liquor over years.
