Longjing (Dragon Well)

China's most famous green tea — flat, jade-coloured leaves with chestnut and toasted-bean aromas.

From West Lake (Xi Hu) outside Hangzhou. Pan-fired by hand into its iconic flat blades, top-grade Shi Feng Longjing is briskly sweet with notes of chestnut, soybean and orchid. Imperial-tribute tea since the Qing dynasty.
